HOW IS AUTISM TREATED

Although there are still no findings on how to cure Autism, there are ways to help children reach they full potential.The most known effective therapy to treat children with ASD is Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA). This approach is most effective when introduced to children at a young age.

Autism Spectrum Disorder(ASD)

- Is a developmental disability that can cause intellectual, communication, social, and behavioral challenges to children.

- Autism is known as a  “spectrum” disorder because      there is wide variation in the type and severity of symptoms children experience.

ASD Facts:

- One in 88 children in the USA has a diagnosis of ASD.

Boys are 5 times more likely to be affected than girls.

Genes and environmental factors are known to cause the condition.
